Owners
Charles and Mary
Charles has been President of Green Country Arms & Pawn since 1991 and brings an extensive product knowledge to assisting customers. Prior to owning Green Country Arms & Pawn, Charles spent 20 plus years managing manufacturing operations and several years in the financial services field. That was after being raised in a family farming operation with over 1000 acres in production. He’s been an outdoorsman all his life and enjoys swapping stories and laughs when the opportunity arises.
If you need some quick cash, you’ll find that his friendly relaxed manner will make you feel more at ease when times are difficult. As an owner, he’s concerned with making sure that our staff here is very courteous and helpful to all our customers and that we offer top dollar in our loans for merchandise.
Mary originally hails from nearby Muskogee and has been active with the business for over 8 years. Her training and experience in the social services field made her a natural for assuring compliance with the federal, state, and municipal agencies that oversee all pawn shops. While she primarily handles back office operations, she also enjoys being out front and working with the customers. If you have a question regarding such regulations, she’s the person to ask.
Together, Charles and Mary strive to create the best pawn shop in town. It is their goal to create a family friendly atmosphere for all their customers.
Staff
Seth
Seth joined our team in March of 2015. Seth is a naturally courteous young man and is blessed with a strong mechanical background. As a native of Claremore, he graduated from Claremore High School and attended Northeastern Technical School. Seth describes himself as a “jack-of-all-trades” and has a passion for firearms and engines. He now resides in Verdigris with his wife, four dogs and one really vicious cat!
All of Seth’s character traits make for a polite and knowledgeable fellow to assist customers with pawn or purchase transactions.
Dave
We were lucky to convince Dave to join our team in August 2015. Dave had been a long time customer of ours with a passion for fine old shotguns and classic revolvers. Dave grew up in an Iowa farming community and most recently retired from his own business that he operated in Tulsa for over 20 years.
We find Dave to be a great resource when discussing older shotguns or wheel guns and expect customers will enjoy his assistance as well.
